LONGTIMENOSEEE!
gahh cnt rly recall what happnd t last two weeks in army, thn agn its nt like you guys so wana read about it right.
what s new ?
more tekan lor, thn they fckg gl.
its like, lets say we got 2hrs of admin time (slack talk cock eat maggie mee) but they will purposely conduct standby area standby bed thn we got dmn little time t clean up, say ORION COMPANY HEADS OUT STANDBY BED 1430 thn evryone wld siaoliaosiaoliao 20mins sure die.
standby bed means must open cupboard thn evrytg in it must standardise like 1 set admin 1 pair socks thn t way you place must same as entire platoon blaa blaaa nt only that still need t literally lick dust off anytg you cn touch. obviously impossible right so for evry mistake they find 10\20 pumpg thn all 4 sections add up so we alw end up w 300+ pushups thn we all fckg dieee. boom
but recently, they resortd t lame mistakes like fingerprint on windows thn dust under t mattress wtf so you've know you've succeeded once they start stoopg so low.
thn again, 7 weeks+ in army, we all kinda formed bonds platoon mates, sargents nd our platoon commandrs, nt bad laa acty.
which brings me t t point about us needg t do a essay on "my bmtc experience" coupld w a photo wadsoevr thn evryone's entry will combined into a scrapbook. coool right.
hm its flowg back.
these last two weeks also alot of appraisals nd stuff.
peer appraisals, as a preferrd friend, stress tolerance, nd good leadr. thn you gotta zam evry single one of your platoon mates, rank them from 1 t 49. fckg mindblowg. but t top few nd last few clearcut laa bc we try t put section mates first priority nd thn put good friends from othr section.
thn got anothr peer appraisal platoon best5 nd last5, thn you've gotta explain why you decide t put their names w leadrship ability in mind.
oh yarh thn i had 16km route march tdy. its like orion goes 4km in 45mins thn rest 15mins. fckg fast. but we did w leopard so abit slackr, they dmn noob cn. wake up at 3am, shaggg thn go chiong. blaa t first 4km dmn tired, bc keep singing army songs wah like fck thn rly dmn sian. thn aftr that a few of us at t back one start zam pop songs thn kaboom dmn high thn t last 12km supr easy. we sing like free siaaa jenny its my life if we hold on tgt dnt wna miss a thing kiss goodbye
blaaa i think got sing 100 songs. 24km no kick chicken feet hahhah.
PLATOON 3 ARE YOU SHAG ?! SHAG IS FOR PUSSIES !
SIT test ovr liao, peer appraisal ovr liao, platoon commandr interview also ovr liao, so your fate's alrdy kinda decided. lol for those of you out thr who say "i wana go ocs" (which is what evryone says bfore steppg into bmtc) plss try your very best t keep that aspiration.
maybe laa dependg on t coy you go t, if you come orion or go ninja thn you're screwd.
tekan like fck, thn they tell you t enjoy your bmt bc its your best time of your ns life. once you step into ocs sispec, you rly lose your life, your family, your friends girlfs boyfs evrytg. especially for ocs bc you hardly get regular nd sufficient bookouts.
maybe that s why orion so fckd up alw cut our bookout timings dmn dulan you've only got slightly more thn 24hrs out of that dmn island.
thn we had express interest also, like show your desire t go command schl thn evrytg's "so you wana go command schl ?" "why?" "err bc i wana lead?" "hm hw are you gng t do that?" "err l-e-a-d ?" o.o but its rly lying through your teeth bc i dnt hav t passion t be a officer bc i dnt wana t go through t rly up t ass training. thn again i rly like t hav that 2 bars on my shouldr as well as t ohsogood pay. thn again, ocs puts a knife right through t heart of your personal life more thn sispec does.
like ocs has confinement period of 3 hell weeks whr they literally put you through a sugarcane machine t squeeze out evrytg you've got. on t othr hand, sispec's much slackr, bettr bookout timings albeit much lower pay.
sooo its jst mindblowg.
but anyway i think ill end up in sispec i kinda slackd my way through bmt nv try hard no effort put in thn nv improve stamina, still a silver.
fckg hell i do 10 pullup thn they dq 2, thn i re try i do 11 they dq 2 again z. so no gold lor but i also cnt do a 9:44 for 2.4km. but nm go command schl must pia gold thn got t badge on your arm dmn nice like you sew onto t 3 stripes woots rly nv bluff you.
thr nice right, but i cnt find a real pict next time get le thn take pict show you all. 9th infantry, although does t most shyt walk t most one that s why must train route march all t way till 54km i think. but i kinda developd a liking t t badge. like they say, learn t love yourself first. tio boh.

Specialist Ranks
Expert soldiers who have undergone professional military training courses are known as Specialists. They progress from Third Sergeant (3SG) to Second Sergeant (2SG) to First Sergeant (1SG). If they prove themselves to be capable and responsible, they may even attain staff-level ranks, such as Staff Sergeant (SSG) or Master Sergeant (MSG).
Specialists usually serve as instructors or are put in charge of groups of men. They serve as the link between the Officers and the men, and are recognised as being a cut above the enlistees.
Junior Officer Ranks
The Junior Officers wear bars on their epaulettes. Commanding platoons or companies of men, they oversee the execution of orders and ensure the welfare of the men under their command. They are most important in small-unit combat, and earn the respect of their men by leading by example. As exemplary soldiers, they bring their men into action with dedication and energy.
Junior Officers graduate from OCS with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant (2LT), and are promoted to Lieutenant (LTA) after they have had sufficient experience. They may later be moved to higher appointments and assume the rank of Captain (CPT).

Motto
Our motto "Forging Ahead" expresses the determination of the soldiers of 9th Singapore Division / Infantry to forge ahead in the defense of our nation with courage, strength and tenacity.
|
1. Black Panther
The panther, a black cat, is seen as a good sign. Its green eyes represent its prowess in the dark of the night. By nature, the panther is fierce and aggressive when it attacks. The sharp fangs symbolise its deadly bites. The dashing panther symbolises the momentum and strength of the division surging forward to boldly embrace the challenges ahead. The panther is mainly in the red of the logo reflecting its roots in the 9th Singapore Division.

 |
 |
2. Bayonet
The bayonet symbolises the infantry arm. It is synonymous with close combat; a task that the infantry is best equipped and trained to undertake. Close combat with the enemy demands tenacity and courage, qualities which infantrymen strive to cultivate. The bayonet is located in the foreground symbolising the courage of the infantryman and his utmost loyalty to the country as he selflessly steps forward to the defence of the country. The bayonet is located mainly in the yellow of the logo reflecting its deep roots in the infantry.
|
3. Equal Division of Two Colours
The equal division of the two colours represents the successful merger of two equals. It also symbolises the new formation's equal commitment to both our Combined Arms Division and Infantry heritage.
|
4. Yellow Colour
Yellow is the colour that usually represents the most senior unit. The infantry is the most senior unit in the Army and thus it is represented by the colour yellow.
|
5. Red Colour
Red was chosen as the background of the former 9th Singapore Division logo given the Division's infantry beginnings. The same red fills the top half of the new logo.
cool right lol.
rarrh thn they razord our heads again so fckg short again, but nm 10more days t hair nd bookg in nd out in cv clothes. bmt past dmn fast sia. 2 months zoom. oh yarh thn pop drills also dmn shag. lazy elaborate.
